Absolutely disgraceful! The company is a joke and the customer service is non-existent. I have spent good money getting a website (albeit naively) but it was just a scam. It has and still is taking me over a year to get money back from them. Although they have refunded some so if you are owed money keep pushing them.

In summary, I would not recommend ATS Distribution to a friend.

Opened an account, emails NEVER WORKED. They always blamed my servers but I asked an independent company to review who stated it was errors their end. Not the end of the world, brought office365 emails and asked them to transfer my emails to office365... 25 emails later and I am still waiting. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

In summary, I would not recommend ATS Distribution to a friend.

I opened an account with ATS Distribution around ten years ago, the first 2/3 years was very good, but after that competition became fierce. So many people had latched onto one of the leading UK drop shippers that there became almost a non profit margin.

Selling on Ebay had its drawbacks, mainly if the product you was trying to dropship became out of stock, much easier to deal with from your own website, if you know about SEO.

The sites they offer thru their website are not value for money, I took one for a twelve month period and it is impossible to get people to see the site so a lot of money was thrown at ATS D. as no sales were generated from that avenue.

If you do not use the ATS D. site to place an order they will close your account and keep any funds you had placed in your account, they told me my account had been inactive for 12 months even though I had placed funds in it 8 months previous, and they closed my account and kept the money I had in there.

I did the research and was recommended to start drop-shipping with ATS. Their site and prices appeared reasonable and the drop-ship service straight forward. I understood that to open an account you needed to pay a 'one off fee' of £40. This fee is described on their site as a fee to handle the drop-ship. Here is what it says:

'There is a one off fee of £40 to use this service.'
'As we are a distributor, there is extra work for us handling drop-ship orders, so there is a one off fee of £40 to register for this service, after that you just pay for the product and postage and packing, and that's it.'
'You can of course request at any time that any funds that are in your account, be transfered back to the source that they came from.'

I paid the £40 but a few days later I found myself in a situation that meant I could not go ahead with drop-shipping. I had not used the service at all and would not in the future. I wanted to close my account and asked for a refund. This below is their reply:

Since June 2011 ATS Distribution have been retailing on Amazon as 'snapitup' and undercutting their very own dropshippers (who have paid £40 to open an account with them!).

When queried their response has been to put only themselves first and they obviously have no interest in their drop ship customers (see http://www.dropshippingforum.co.uk/dropship/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8315&p=34588&hilit=snapitup#p34588 )

There are many dropshippers who don't stab their own customers in the back - do your research.
