This site seemed ideal when I first looked at it and ordered what I needed. The goods were received quickly. Shortly after using one of the items, it broke so I contacted customer services to report this. They said to send it back to them, which I did. I waited and waited but no one contacted me. I phoned them up and was told they had received it but hadn't gotten around to checking it yet, was told they would contact me once this had happened. I waited some more but no one did. After phoning 5 or 6 times over the course of a month, I finally spoke to the "owner?" who said he had misplaced it so he hadn't gotten a chance to check what the defect was. I explained to him exactly what was wrong, but he said that he needed to check it for himself. I was a bit perplexed as to how he would do this having lost the item. I was getting frustrated because this had been dragging on for over a month now and I was getting no where. They had my money and now the item as well. As we discussed this, the man started dropping the f bomb, at which point I did as well. The telephone conversation heated up and before long he was taunting me to come over and speak to him face to face, when I stated that would not be happening as I was at the other end of the country he said 'don't worry I am coming your way during Xmas and I'll pay you a visit'. Honestly, if this is how someone runs a business, I don't want to deal with them. I tried getting my money back through PayPal, but they don't really care about after sales and only give you 45 days to file a dispute, not really useful with a 12 month warranty. My advice, probably with all online trading, but definitely with this website ONLY USE THEM IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD as maybe then your bank would refund you? Now having said all of this, I have ordered things from this place before and had no problems. The problems come into play when items need to be returned or a warranty needs to be honoured and you need to deal with customer service. :-( Not worth the hassle.
In summary, I would not recommend DropShipOnline to a friend.
